Rabi' Al-awwal (ربيع الأوّل) is the third month in the Islamic schedule. Amid this month, the larger part of Muslims observe Mawlid - the birthday of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad. In spite of the fact that the correct date is unknown. Sunni Muslims trust the date of birth of Muhammad to have been on the twelfth of this current month, while Shi'a Muslims trust him to have been conceived on the beginning of the seventeenth day. The name Rabī' AL-awwal implies the primary month or start of spring, alluding to its position in the pre-Islamic Bedouin logbook. Thus this is thought to be an extremely honored month.
